Vide grenier app

Vide-grenier is an associative application created to easily find various nearby events (flea markets, garage sales, clothing swaps). We have been asked to redesign the overall look of the mobile app while retaining its core functionalities

After conducting a competitive analysis and examining various UI patterns, it became clear to me that highlighting a vintage aesthetic would be essential, while adhering to principles of perception and contrast. The vibrant 70s theme allowed me to give the application a distinctive character, enhancing both usability and user flow.

The user starts with a splash screen where they rediscover the app's rebranding and new logo. They can begin their search using the map, adjusting important filters to refine their search. The content adapts based on the selected criteria. Initially, the user will see the day's events highlighted in impactful cards to create diversity on the page and maintain user engagement. Subsequently, events are categorized by week and then by month. Key events will have dedicated animated cards to stand out more prominently. Each card will have labels to differentiate between event types. The event detail page highlights essential information such as theme, date, location, host, description, price, and map. Users can also directly book a spot through the app.
